WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • A rare opportunity to develop a premium wine brand in the UK on-trade sector.
  • Build long-term relationships with independent restaurants, bars, and hotels.
  • Autonomy to create a sales strategy and develop a high-value client base.
  • Work with a high-quality product and a brand committed to excellence.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity to take a premium wine brand into the UK's on-trade market. As UK Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with independent restaurants, boutique hotels, and high-end bars, ensuring the brand is well-represented in the premium hospitality sector.

Beyond traditional sales, the role is about consultative relationship-building, working closely with venue owners, sommeliers, and F&B managers to ensure their wine offering stands out. Success will come from creating a network of engaged trade customers, leveraging tastings, events, and industry connections to drive long-term sales growth.

This is a business development role that requires an entrepreneurial approach. You'll be responsible for expanding market presence, identifying new opportunities, and positioning the brand as a go-to choice in premium venues.

THE ROLE

  • Develop relationships with independent restaurants, hotels, and bars.
  • Build a high-value client base and manage long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with trade buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers to promote the brand.
  • Host tastings, attend trade events, and develop brand presence in the market.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and negotiate new listings.
  • Represent the brand at industry functions and networking events.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a passion for premium wines, hospitality, or the on-trade sector. Success in this role comes from relationship-building, market expertise, and consultative selling.

You Should Have

  • A proven track record in on-trade sales, premium drinks, or hospitality.
  • Experience in new business development and strategic networking.
  • A strong understanding of wine and its role in premium hospitality settings.
  • The ability to develop relationships with sommeliers, trade buyers, and business owners.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to sales and client engagement.
