THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity to take a
premium wine brand into the UK's on-trade market. As
UK Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with
independent restaurants, boutique hotels, and high-end bars, ensuring the brand is well-represented in the premium hospitality sector.
Beyond traditional sales, the role is about
consultative relationship-building, working closely with venue owners, sommeliers, and F&B managers to ensure their wine offering stands out. Success will come from
creating a network of engaged trade customers, leveraging tastings, events, and industry connections to drive long-term sales growth.
This is a business development role that requires an entrepreneurial approach. You'll be responsible for
expanding market presence, identifying new opportunities, and positioning the brand as a go-to choice in premium venues.
THE ROLE
- Develop relationships with independent restaurants, hotels, and bars.
- Build a high-value client base and manage long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with trade buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers to promote the brand.
- Host tastings, attend trade events, and develop brand presence in the market.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and negotiate new listings.
- Represent the brand at industry functions and networking events.
