Job description

Job Details: Regional Lead Pharmacy Technician

Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.

We have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year our services support around 125,000 people.

Bringing together two big organisations is not a small task and it’ll take a while to fully integrate our systems, processes and approaches. That’s why you will notice the jobs here are still branded ‘Humankind’. Next year we’ll be fully integrating our recruitment systems but for now they are separate.

About the role

In this key role, you’ll analyse data, contribute to policy development, support audits, and help drive improvements across our adult social care services. You’ll work closely with regional and national leads, service directors, and frontline teams to ensure safe, effective, and innovative care that meets regulatory standards.

You’ll also play a vital role in training, developing service user materials, and creating performance reports that help shape future service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a forward-thinking and collaborative team.

If you’re looking for a varied role where you can help shape and enhance adult social care pharmacy services, we’d love to hear from you!

You will be responsible for:

  • Analysis of internal Waythrough adult social care data sets and making subsequent recommendations (with support from Director of Pharmacy) in line with best practice guidelines and Waythrough policies and procedures.
  • Support the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement action plans for achieving and maintaining performance targets and KPIs and appropriate quality standards.
  • Support the Director of Pharmacy working in conjunction with the Regional/National Leads and Service Clinical Directors in developing and delivering clinically safe and effective adult social care services, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional bodies' requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of adult social care clinical policies and procedures by supporting working parties, delivering staff training and communicating and implementing at regional/service level.
  • Support the Director of Pharmacy and services as they initiate innovative forms of adult social care service delivery, identifying development opportunities to maintain and develop service provision.

This role is up to 37 Hours

Please note that while this role is primarily home based, occasional travel will be required to deliver in-person training sessions as needed.
