Role Overview:

The client has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Regional HR Advisor who is responsible for delivering a full range of HR support and advice. This position involves overseeing all HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and career development. The HR Advisor will ensure the effective application of all HR policies, aligning them with regional and business-wide goals. Central to this role is the promotion of a positive and inclusive workplace culture, boosting employee engagement, and advancing diversity and inclusion throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Advisory: Provide performance management, reward and benefits advice, and handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and other HR issues.
2. Meeting Support: Attend and support formal meetings, offering advice on company policies and legal considerations, and ensuring proper documentation.
3. Manager Coaching: Train line managers on HR policies and procedures through individual sessions and group meetings.
4. Resourcing Support: Collaborate with managers on recruitment needs, manage recruitment campaigns, and ensure compliance standards are met. You will manage all aspects of recruitment administration, support diversity initiatives, maintain Microsoft SharePoint content, and address all resourcing queries. Other responsibilities include managing agency worker engagement and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
5. Data Management: Maintain tracking systems, create reports, and provide key metrics to the HR Business Partner.
6. Career Development: Coordinate apprenticeship arrangements and document learning and development activities.
7. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity initiatives and ensure effective team communication.
8. Employee Engagement: Act as Regional Engagement Coordinator, participate in Employee Forums, and support engagement efforts and recognition programs.

What Will Make You Stand Out?

Ideal candidates will ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent, have strong employment law knowledge, excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility and a professional attitude are essential.

This role is based at our Chorley site and will also involve travel to other sites within the North region.
