Amazon Transportation is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Amazon Transportation EU, responsible for leading the Regional Carrier Management team owning the end-to-end relationship with our Linehaul Service Providers.
You will own strategic planning and delivery for a region and manage the Carrier activities across the following:
As an integral part of the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team, the Carrier Management function works across a geographical transportation market. The team works with Amazon’s FCs, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Retail and Finance teams and externally with service providers, offering business and logistics expertise to ensure optimal delivery of service solutions.
The successful candidate will have a true hands-on approach, strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a high caliber team. This position involves regular interaction with senior leadership internally and at Managing Director level externally.
The candidate will need to be comfortable communicating robustly at that level whilst also working directly with various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization across the Amazon business.
