Talented People are recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to join an established business!
Field-based | London with the potential for some home county call outs

The Role

Talented People are on the lookout for on behalf of our client for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing team. You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of refrigeration systems, with a focus on delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You'll work across various sites within around London!

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and repair faults across a variety of refrigeration systems
  2. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and system clean-downs
  3. Troubleshoot issues involving refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators and control systems
  4. Maintain accurate records and service reports
  5. Provide on-site technical support and guidance
  6. Support in dilapidation reports and system upgrades
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies
What We're Looking For
  1. Proven experience with refrigeration systems and refrigerants (including CO₂ and ammonia however ammonia isn't essential)
  2. Strong understanding of refrigeration principles and system operations
  3. FGAS Certification
  4. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  5. Full UK driving licence
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills
  7. Professional, motivated and able to work independently
  8. A strong team player with great communication
