Arcus are recruiting a BMS Technician who will be responsible for investigating BMS issues utilizing the Trend 963 portal/Vision, KMC and RDM, create daily/weekly reports - automated alarming. The BMS Technician will offer technical advice for all matters surrounding Verisae and Trend, gather technical information to understand trend analysis, and send technical reports to various contractors and the client.
Responsibilities
Working within the Arcus FM Bureau, the BMS Technician will support customers ranging from client’s employees, Service and Maintenance contractors, Installation contractors and Arcus FM. They will also audit remote sites pre and post investment work, and carry out pre BMS PPM review. Other responsibilities include;
- Responsible for the continual daily technical functions and duties associated with maintaining web-based BMS System.
- Create innovative reports suitable for all levels of skillsets to fully understand.
- Produces work requests and initiates follow-up to ensure timely disposition and close-out of actions.
- Responsible for tracking action items and issues through to resolution.
- Assists the Bureau Manager with the identification of areas for improvement within the Bureau.
- Compiles performance reports for contractors and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of BEMS covering various manufacturers including Trend, IQ vision, Siemens or Tridium, and experience within a professional customer service. Other requirements include;
- Understanding of FM and support services contracting and performance measurement and monitoring.
- Understanding and experience of the retail industry desirable.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and good telephone manner.
- IT literate with experience of MS Office applications i.e. Word and Excel.
- Excellent administration and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Prepare, evaluate and send technical reports.
- Good HVAC knowledge, knowledge of hot and cold water systems, knowledge of renewable energy and basic electrical knowledge.
- Hold a valid UK driving license and own transport.
