We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, tutoring, and assessing students on the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - level 3 standard.

JOB ROLE

1. Support apprenticeships to develop knowledge and skills.
2. Classroom and workshop delivery for level 3 Refrigeration and air conditioning.
3. Guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure students are ready.
4. Meeting apprentices on site at their employers to support via coaching and mentoring on a one-to-one basis, to help embed knowledge for the classroom.
5. Completing paperwork.
6. Preparing lessons.
7. Managing a caseload of learners.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

1. If you are not a Tutor or Assessor, you must have worked in the refrigeration and air conditioning field and have site experience of commercial and/or individual systems.
2. Ideally possess current F Gas qualifications and understanding of current legislation.
3. If you do not have the above, then you should have been either a Tutor, Trainer, or Assessor for Refrigeration and air conditioning.
4. Desirable: teaching or assessor qualified.
