  4. Manage complex scheduling issues and provide solutions to improve operational performance.
  5. Use advanced process modelling and scheduling software to forecast and plan production schedules.
  6. Provide leadership to junior engineers, offering guidance on refining scheduling techniques and best practices.
  7. Ensure refinery scheduling processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  8. Contribute to strategic process improvements and troubleshooting within the refinery's operations.
Position Requirements:
  1. BSc or MSc in Chemical / Process Engineering (or equivalent).
  2. Previous experience in a similar role with a focus on refinery scheduling or related operations in refining, chemicals, or petrochemicals.
  3. Strong leadership and organisational skills, with experience managing a complex workload and leading teams of engineers.
  4. Knowledge of refining and energy processes with hands-on experience in modelling and process optimisation.
  5. Advanced knowledge of products within the assigned business line and how they relate to refinery scheduling.
  6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in complex technology projects, across different regions and time zones.
  7. Experience working in a global organisation and with different cultures is an advantage.
Competencies to be kept current:

  7. Goal-driven approach to project delivery
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers within the team

Why Apply?
