Recycling Operative

Recruiting on behalf of a very busy recycling company based in the Lichfield area.

Experience in recycling would be an advantage but not essential.

Full training will be given on the role.

Working hours: 9am-5pm (there will be some weekend work).

Responsibilities:

1. Collect and dispose of waste materials according to established procedures and guidelines.
2. Operate waste management equipment such as compactors, balers, and shredders.
3. Sort and separate recyclable materials from general waste.
4. Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of waste collection areas.
6. Monitor waste levels and report any issues or concerns to supervisor.
7. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations.
