As a recruitment leader, you will shape, drive and deliver our recruitment operation for our Retail Management roles across our Sainsbury’s and Argos stores, through a strong connection to our business and customers, being highly tuned into the external environment, growing a developing a high performing team, and playing a crucial role in positioning Sainsbury's as the first choice for leaders who want to work in good food.
What you'll do
As a Recruitment Manager, your accountabilities will be a blend of leading the efficient day-to-day running of our recruitment operation for all Retail Management roles, as well as continuously evolving and innovating our candidate touchpoints and service to attract the very best talent in the market who will lead our colleagues to serve our customers brilliantly.
Your role will encompass shaping and delivering the recruitment strategy and priorities, designing and implementing a blend of proactive and reactive initiatives, leveraging technology and automation to power our processes, efficiency and compliance, and ultimately ensure every candidate has a positive and consistent candidate experience.
You will manage a team of Recruitment Leads and Recruiters, championing a high-performance and fearless culture and driving best practices. Additionally, you will play a vital role in identifying strategic improvements, optimising recruitment metrics, managing risks, and resolving complex recruitment queries or escalations. You will understand how to implement and manage all of these at scale and at pace, and be able to construct approaches that will have an impact across thousands of hiring managers and stakeholders.
Your focus will also extend to promoting diversity and inclusion, nurturing a proactive sourcing function, analysing recruitment data and engaging with third-party agencies. Moreover, you will contribute to the growth and development of your team and advance your own knowledge and skills in the recruitment market.
