Description

Are you looking for a new challenge where your creative thinking and problem-solving skills are a regular part of the job? If so we have an exciting new opportunity for you!

We are looking for someone to join our friendly Human Resources Team to shape and take forward key actions from our People Strategy. This includes developing employment and training opportunities, with a focus on people who face barriers to employment who we have yet to engage with.

Working with colleagues from across our organisation as well as our partner organisation, SWISCo, we are looking to develop our work experience and supported internship offers. We also want to create a new graduate development programme and finding and creating career pathways into apprenticeships and other employment opportunities.

You will need to be able to network confidently with a range of different people and organisations, both internal and external, and will be able to demonstrate experience of developing solutions and working with others to implement new processes.

This position is for a fixed term of 24 months from the start date.

Essential:

  1. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise other work accordingly.

  4. Ability to analyse information using data to measure and forecast outcomes and to develop plans accordingly.
  5. Effective IT skills, use of Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams and Outlook.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Knowledge

Essential:

  1. Inclusive recruitment practices and evidence of how these have been implemented.
  2. Qualification/accreditation routes relevant to different career pathways.
  3. Local education and training provision.
  4. Local job market and funding streams available to support further education, training and support.
  5. Social mobility and the needs of people who face barriers to employment.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  1. Education, Health and Social Care or HR qualification at Level 5 (diploma) or above, or equivalent experience in recruitment, career development and/or supported recruitment practices.
  2. Experience of recruitment, career development and/or supported recruitment practices and events.
  3. Experience of working with groups of people from a range of different ages and backgrounds.
  4. Development of new processes and procedures.
  5. Presenting information and developing reports.
