About the position
The Recruitment Events Specialist plays a vital role in curating exceptional events tailored to elevate La Trobe University’s acquisition and conversion strategy. Focused on delivering best in class events, this position helps drive the objective of attracting and engaging prospective domestic students across Australia.
As a specialist in event management, the position takes the lead in planning and executing strategic events for prospective students such as Open Days, career exhibitions, experiential activities, and other engagement activities. By leveraging innovative event tactics and fostering impactful engagement initiatives, this role directly contributes to achieving the University’s strategic student recruitment goals.
The Domestic Student Recruitment Team is responsible for implementing an acquisition and conversion strategy on behalf of the University in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high-quality domestic applications. This includes management of course enquiries, business development, facilitation of direct admissions and alternative entry schemes, and the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment across Australia.
