Job Description:
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Location: Hadleigh SS7
Are you an experienced recruiter or sales-driven professional looking for an opportunity where you can take control of your own success? Do you want uncapped earning potential, the freedom to build your desk in mainstream education or SEND, and the backing of a high-growth, specialist agency?
We provide you with the autonomy to manage any geographical area and the flexibility to specialise in either mainstream or SEND recruitment, depending on your expertise and career aspirations. Whether you want to focus on placing teachers, teaching assistants, leadership staff, or support roles, you’ll have the freedom to build your desk your way.
With a high-performance commission structure with no caps, a high achiever bonus, and reduced working hours during school holidays, this role is designed for a determined, competitive, and sales-driven recruiter who is ready to take their career to the next level.
While you will be responsible for managing your own compliance requirements, you will receive support from the team when bandwidth allows, ensuring that compliance does not slow down your success.
What Will You Do?
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging candidates to successful placements.
- Building and expanding your own client base by developing strong relationships with schools and education providers.
- Specialising in either mainstream education or SEND recruitment, with the option to expand into other verticals.
- Handling your own compliance requirements, ensuring all candidates meet safeguarding and regulatory standards, with team support available when needed.
- Driving business growth through client development, market mapping, and strategic recruitment planning.
- Managing your own desk with full control over your approach, sector focus, and geographical reach.
- Identifying opportunities in the market and acting on them to stay ahead of competitors.
- Implementing creative sourcing and attraction strategies to ensure a pipeline of top-quality candidates.
What Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in recruitment or strong sales/business development backgrounds (education recruitment experience is a plus but not essential).
- A self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven approach, with the ability to build a successful desk from the ground up.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to develop long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
- A resilient, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and client demands.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of your own desk, and drive your success.
- Confidence in handling compliance and ensuring all placements meet safeguarding requirements, with the ability to seek team support when needed.
- Experience using recruitment CRM systems and digital sourcing tools (desirable but not essential).
What We Can Offer You
- A competitive salary with commission to recognise your achievements.
- Reduced working hours during school holidays. Term time: 7:00 - 16:00 | School holidays: 9:00 - 15:00
- Annual leave is allocated during school holidays, ensuring work-life balance in line with the academic calendar. (Do not apply if this is not possible for you)
- Full autonomy to build your own desk, whether in mainstream education or SEND.
- Support with compliance when bandwidth allows, helping you maintain efficiency.
- A dedicated team environment that values performance and personal success.
- Ongoing professional development, training, and career progression opportunities.
- Regular team incentives, performance rewards, and social events.
