Roles & Responsibilities:

This is a combined role and will involve elements of being a Transport Planner and also a Recruitment Consultant. The list of responsibilities provided is non-exhaustive, and you should be flexible and willing to learn new skills as required.

1. Utilizing internal systems
2. Ticket Systems (IT requests, Marketing requests, Purchase Order Numbers etc)
3. Payroll Management Systems
4. Time & Attendance Systems
5. Using the telephone for:
1. Contacting applicants to pre-screen them and book interviews
2. Speaking to client department managers
3. Liaising with drivers daily
4. Conducting candidate induction/assessments
5. Pre-screening applicants and ensuring they meet client standards for placement
6. Full Interviews and on-site inductions
6. Daily management of drivers (Class 1, Class 2, 7.5T and 3.5T):
1. Daily contact with all drivers
2. Scheduling run times and dealing with queries
3. Confirming availability & updating trackers
4. Data collation/reporting
5. Tracking worker attendance
6. Creating Reports and analysing data
7. Reporting back to your management team
8. Meetings/briefings with different client teams (Operations, HR, Health & Safety etc)

You should be confident dealing with a variety of people within the Logistics and Transport sector, from Warehouse Managers to Warehouse Operatives and Drivers.

About You:

If you are:

1. Computer literate
2. Experienced in high volume recruitment
3. Able to plan driver rotas (taking into account WTD etc)
4. A critical thinker and problem solver
5. Good with people at all levels

We would like to hear from you. You will also have your own driving licence and transport as some travel between client sites may be required.

This role would suit someone with previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Driver Recruitment Consultant, Driving Consultant, Transport Planner, Shift Planner, Transport Recruitment Consultant etc.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
