Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for recruitment, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in placing candidates in permanent roles. As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, building strong relationships with clients and candidates, and achieving placement targets.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and negotiating job offers.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  3. Source and attract high-quality candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  4. Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments to ensure a strong match with client requirements.
  5. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including resume advice, interview preparation, and career counseling.
  6. Achieve and exceed individual and team placement targets and KPIs.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments to provide informed advice to clients and candidates.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the company's CRM system.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar role, preferably within [industry/sector].
  2. Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
  4. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficient in using recruitment software and tools, including CRM systems and job boards.
  7. You must be able to drive and be local to Peterborough.

Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
