Recruitment Consultants – Manchester
Salary £23,500-£25,000 + additional Rewards & Benefits
Term: Permanent Position, Full-Time
Working Hours: (Monday-Friday) 8.30-5.30 Fridays 5pm (1 hour lunch)

Due to continued success, Venn Group in Manchester is actively searching for Recruitment Consultants to join Private & Public Sector divisions.
Roles will involve specialising in a range of sectors including IT, Finance, HR, Local Government, Housing, and Engineering.
These positions are open to applications from candidates at varying experience levels; no prior experience is required.

Working duties:
As consultants, you will be part of an established team dedicated to providing the right talent solutions for clients. You will work as a trusted advisor, guiding both candidates and clients through the hiring experience.
- Meeting clients and candidates to build and develop relationships
- Understanding companies, their industry, and work culture
- Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in various media
- Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy
- Building a portfolio by calling new potential clients to generate business
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews, and creating a shortlist of candidates
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants
- Briefing candidates about responsibilities, salary, and benefits
- Preparing CVs and correspondence for clients regarding suitable applicants
- Organising and preparing candidates for interviews
- Negotiating pay and salary rates, finalising arrangements between clients and candidates
- Offering advice on pay rates, training, and career progression
- Working towards and exceeding targets related to placements, billing, or business leads
Our Package:
The basic salary will depend on your previous experience.
Once eligible for commission (after 3 months), financial rewards are within your control. Full commission can yield approx. £10,000-£15,000 on top of your basic salary in your first year, depending on your contribution to the team.
Our ‘Pathways & Milestones’ progression model offers uncapped earning potential, with both basic salary and commission increasing at each milestone achieved.
