Recruitment Consultant

Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000, OTE £60,000 - £70,000

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Thursday (including 2 late shifts), fully office-based

Responsibilities:

1. Managing a warm desk with existing clients and candidates, while also proactively developing new business opportunities
2. Conducting canvass calls to generate new business opportunities
3. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and candidates
4. Conducting telephone interviews and shortlisting candidates
5. Driving new business by building a strong sales pipeline through cold calling and email marketing
6. Conducting LinkedIn sourcing projects to identify and engage top talent
7. Writing and advertising job ads to attract high-quality candidates
8. Keeping the candidate database up to date and ensuring accurate records

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant
2. Proven ability to reach and exceed sales targets in a recruitment or sales environment
3. A results-driven approach with a strong desire to succeed
4. A self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic mindset
5. Strong communication and relationship-building skills
6. A driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to office location)
