£26,023+ Pension + Private Healthcare + ShareSave + 6.6 weeks holiday + Hybrid Working (4 days per week in the office/1 WFH) - Occasional Saturday work as part of the shift rota

Role purpose: Ultimately to keep our customers safe and our works legal by maintaining accurate information in the IT systems utilised by installations, ensuring that accurate information is held for vendors and that relevant processes are carried out to ensure B&Q only uses compliant vendors in the customers' homes.

What's the job?

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately maintain the compliance database.
  2. Process recruitment packs for Installers, liaising with Installer, Stores, Finance and Vendor teams to ensure all documentation received meets B&Q requirements.
  3. Validate compliance and setup new installation vendors.
  4. Track, monitor and report on audit findings by external parties.
  5. Receive and respond to queries from installers and colleagues relating to compliance matters.
  6. Achieve key objectives.
  7. Run exception reports and distribute to ensure customer safety.
  8. Support Installer recruitment.
  9. You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require.
  10. Adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role.

  6. Store Support Office (Commercial, Supply Chain, QA)

  1. Installations vendors
  2. Industry bodies
  3. Competent Persons Schemes
  4. Gas Safe Register
What we need:

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Knowledge of the installation service industry preferable
  2. Knowledge of kitchen/bathroom/bedroom installations and product preferable
  3. Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  4. Excellent attention to detail, numerical and data entry skills
  5. Methodical and logical thinker
  6. Confident communicator
  7. Resilient under pressure

Other Requirements:

Flexible working with Rota’d Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
