Recruitment Administrator Job Introduction

Part time hours - 25.5 hours per week

Permanent contract

£11.44 per hour/£15,.65 per annum (Pro rata of £22,.79)

We have a new role available to join the Beaverbrooks Recruitment team at our Office in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. As the Beaverbrooks Recruitment Administrator, you will be part of a small team that supports the hiring managers in our 85 stores & our office departments, to attract and retain the best possible people for our business. You will be an ambassador of Beaverbrooks and will give a great first impression when welcoming all new colleagues on board.

Working hours are 25.5 hours per week which can be spread over 4-5 days. There would be a requirement for Mondays and Thursdays to be working days; however, we can be flexible on when the other hours could be worked, between Monday and Friday. There may also be the option for some seasonal overtime between September - November if desired.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Setting up new starter files
  2. Carrying out reference checks (by email or phone)
  3. Arranging, booking, and inviting new starters to inductions
  4. Booking induction accommodation and training rooms where necessary
  5. Printing and sending materials for inductions
  6. Assisting with the distribution of laptops for training days and carrying out any updates when required
  7. Putting together and sending of job offer letters and new starter contracts via our ATS
  8. Maintaining recruitment and training records

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communicator both written & verbal
  • Computer literate confident user of word, excel & the internet
  • High attention to detail & levels of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of using an ATS (applicant tracking system)
  • Experience of booking accommodation online
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices
  • Understanding of Data Protection
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to recruitment
