Recruitment Account Manager - Construction
Location: Loughton
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 + Comms per annum

About the Role:

My client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Recruitment Account Manager to join their growing team, specializing in the construction industry. This is a client-facing, business development-focused role where you will be responsible for winning new business, managing key client accounts, and maintaining long-term relationships. Your success will be measured by your ability to identify opportunities, grow client portfolios, and provide tailored recruitment solutions to the construction sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Proactively identify and target new clients within the construction industry to expand our business footprint.
  2. Account Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of service and client satisfaction.
  3. Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing effective solutions.
  4. Market Intelligence: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in the construction industry and recruitment market, leveraging this knowledge to offer valuable insights to clients.
  5. Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate terms and fees with clients to secure profitable agreements.
  6. Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor and report on client activity, ensuring business growth and achievement of targets.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure that client requirements are met with high-quality candidates.

Key Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven experience in business development and client account management, ideally within the recruitment or construction sectors.
  2. Strong understanding of the construction industry and its recruitment needs.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  4. Results-driven with a passion for sales and new business generation.
  5. A proactive approach with the ability to think on your feet and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
