We Are With You's Bournemouth SPOC (Single Point of Contact) Service provides free and confidential support to people who need support with alcohol and substance use. This role will focus on working with those aged 50 plus.
The successful candidate will be based in the Single Point of contact (SPOC) team with a focus on working with those aged 50 plus. The SPOC Team support service users at the beginning of their treatment journey within the BCP treatment system. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing a caseload, care planning, risk management and supporting clients to achieve their personalised goals. We deliver harm minimisation interventions within our needle exchange and deliver psychosocial interventions within our workshops carrying out preparation and aftercare planning to support referrals towards detoxifications programmes and residential rehabilitation.
Everyone should feel comfortable getting the support they need for issues with drugs, alcohol or mental health. At We Are With You we work with people on their own goals, whether that's staying safe and healthy, making small changes or stopping an unwanted habit altogether. We give people support in a way that's right for them either face to face in their local service, community or online. We provide a free and confidential service without judgement to more than 100,000 people a year. We use our expertise to improve the help available and raise awareness around drugs, alcohol and mental health so that more people can get support. We Are With You.
