We are looking for a friendly and efficient Receptionist to join our well-established team.
Experience of using Emis Web and Docman systems is desirable.
You must be flexible with regards to hours of work as cover for colleagues' annual leave and sickness will be required and also be prepared to work over two sites between the hours of 7am-6.30pm. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to cover the following hours:
You will be expected to work an occasional Saturday morning from 8.30am-12 noon. The rate of pay will be negotiable depending upon experience.
The successful applicant will also benefit from 5 weeks of paid annual leave plus bank holidays and have the option of enrolling into the NHS pension scheme.
The duties will include dealing with patients, booking appointments, issuing prescriptions, answering the telephone, handling and solving all patient queries, entering data accurately, registering new patients, and other general reception and administrative duties. The position can be very demanding and fast-moving at times, so the ability to learn new skills quickly and easily and prioritize workload are essential skills. You must be computer literate and possess good communication skills.
