Job description

Band 2 Receptionist (CAT 3A - Urology)

This is a part time post for 22.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday; 8am-4pm).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the urology Clinical Admin Team (CAT) as Urology Receptionist.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient support service to the Urology Department, assisting in the provision of quality patient care.

This will include general clerical and administrative duties that support the administrative elements of the entire patient pathway.

The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway.

The receptionist will have the ability to perform complex administrative functions and will be responsible for receiving patients and visitors attending outpatient clinics taking ownership of escalated administrative issues where appropriate.

You will work in close partnership with medical, nursing and secretarial staff to ensure the smooth running of the outpatients department.

The job holder will display the agreed behaviours of the Directorate and the Trust as encapsulated by the performance management and personal development documentation, and in particular, the Trust expects all staff to comply with all relevant policies and codes of conduct and to display the values of the Trust.
