An exciting opportunity has arisen within Surgical division for a Ward Receptionist to work in our Elective surgical Ward -Urology Services. The successful candidate will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team (nurses, medical team, allied health professionals) to ensure patients on our ward receive the highest standard of care and have a positive experience whilst supporting flow through the Hospital.
We are looking for a Ward Receptionist who can work between 24 hrs per week, over two days as part of a job share to cover our reception area (Thursdays to Saturdays) -To include some weekend working. Shifts will be covered Mainly Thursday and Friday covering 08:00am – 16:30pm, with some flexibility in days. To be discussed at interview.
This role requires someone who can work pro-actively, and has excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure due to the role having competing demands at times. The post holder will need to be computer confident and be willing to undertake training to be self-reliant in using multiple NHS applications.
