A rare and exciting opportunity has become available to work as part of Tayside Sexual and Reproductive Health Service as a Receptionist / Administration Assistant.

Tayside Sexual & Reproductive Health Service is a strictly confidential and friendly service working to meet the Sexual & Reproductive Health needs of anyone who lives in Tayside.

This post is a key role within Tayside Sexual and Reproductive Health Service’s administration team and is based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

We require someone who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and by telephone and be capable of providing general assistance to patients, carers, and staff within this busy department. You will perform reception, telephony, and general admin duties for Tayside Sexual and Reproductive Health Service.

This post will also undertake uncomplicated document production, predominantly letters.

Candidates should have experience of using a range of IT systems and packages and possess excellent communication and keyboard skills. You should also have previous experience of working in a patient environment or a similar situation involving contact with members of the public.

Relevant experience of medical terminology is desirable. You will be able to deal effectively with a number of simultaneous tasks and have the ability, commitment and judgement to ensure deadlines and actions are delivered.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
