A large Primary School in Waltham Forest, London is seeking a Reception/ EYFS Teaching Assistant to join from March/ April 2025. This is a general Teaching Assistant position being offered on a permanent contract. This is a full-time position.

Position: Reception Teaching Assistant/ EYFS TA
Start Date: March/ April 2025
Location: Waltham Forest, London
Contract: Full Time, Long term contract till July 2025, Permanent contract from September 2025
Salary: £83 - £115 per day / £415-£575 per week
Training: Excellent education and training available, Teacher training available from September 2025
Transport: Excellent transport links, Car park available

This Primary school is located within the heart of Waltham Forest, London with fantastic transport links. There are two local stations which are served by the Victoria Line, Suffragette Line, Weaver Line & Central Line, both around a 5-7 minute walk from the school.

The ideal candidate for this Reception Teaching Assistant/ EYFS TA role will have experience working within a primary school or knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

You will be required to work across the 2 Reception classes offering support to the class teachers. You will also be required to plan activities for small groups and aid children with their reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy.

The ideal candidate will hold a CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, a relevant degree, or have over 1 year’s experience in EYFS.
