Reception Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Reception Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary academy located in Twickenham. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a nurturing and inspiring environment, starting as soon as possible.
Role Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Salary: 2,200 per month
Start Date: ASAP
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning experiences for children in the Early Years. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a classroom setting, preferably within a primary school or nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Provide individual and group support to children, ensuring their well-being and development.
Assist with classroom management and the preparation of resources.
Use sensory play and structured learning activities to aid development.
Support children with speech and language difficulties using visual aids.
Encourage social interaction and independence through play-based learning.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working in a primary school/ nursery setting in the UK.
Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Already have or willing to apply and pay for a Child Only DBS.
Have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in early years.
A passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
