As an Associate Director, you will lead the team in the overall execution and delivery of a wide range of projects, both continuous and ad hoc, across a variety of clients and sectors.

What will I be doing?

These are the types of things you can expect to be doing during your day-to-day, although as Ipsos is a dynamic organisation, this may vary as different opportunities arise:

• Taking a lead in account management with a focus on developing existing client relationships and getting involved in growing the business.
• Take active leadership for revenue generation and driving commercial success.
• Working closely with clients to ensure you fully understand their business, motivations, and the impact of your work.
• Along with a Director, you'll lead sizeable project teams here in the UK.
• You will leverage your understanding of client evidence needs and experience of study design, approval, and execution of RWE-NIS study methodologies to accelerate the development and commercialisation of Ipsos' RWE-NIS offer (primary data collection and secondary database studies).
• You will be comfortable providing expert direction and working with a close-knit multi-disciplinary team that includes the Global Senior Vice President of RWE, Global RWE Commercial Development Director, Global Compliance Director, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Research Officer, Data Science & Analytics, and Marketing to develop, package and promote Ipsos' RWE-RWE offer.

Ipsos UK offers a hybrid working environment, 3 days in the office and working the rest from home.

What do I need to bring with me?

Background:

• Experience in Real World Data or Non-Interventional studies as well as the operations side of RWE. A Consulting background will also suit this role.
• A background in Epidemiology, public health or other related bachelor degree is also required. A Masters or PhD would be desirable.
• Proven experience of meeting client needs and managing client relationships.
• Experience of managing, developing and motivating individuals and teams.
• You have a strong understanding of different research methodologies and a passion for delivering insightful results.
• You have contributed directly to revenue generation, e.g. by writing proposals and winning new business and/or developing client accounts.
• You have experience with AI-Based Research Tools: Practical experience using AI-powered tools for research tasks, including data analysis platforms and automation tools.

Skills:

• Solid research skills including questionnaire (eCRF) & study design, project processes, sampling, and basic analytical techniques.
• Commercial outlook, understanding client business and modeling our Client First behaviours.
• You have strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills and are able to work across multiple projects or tasks.
• Financial awareness: experience of proactively managing finances on projects and/or have had a core role in ensuring projects' profitability.
• You are proficient in data analysis software (SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies and how they can be applied to market research and consumer insights.

About the Team

The Healthcare Service Line works with Pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device manufacturers and technology companies throughout the project lifecycle from early stage strategy to launch of a new product, to product optimization. In addition to custom research, the healthcare Service Line also works on therapeutic centers of expertise in Oncology, Autoimmune, Virology and more.
