Real Estate Solicitor - Newly Qualified (NQ)

BCL Legal is working with a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm, currently seeking an NQ Solicitor to join their expanding Commercial Property team in Essex. This opportunity is perfect for a lawyer eager to specialise in commercial property transactions and gain exposure to a broad range of work, including sales and purchases, leases, secured lending, and other transactional landlord and tenant matters.

The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team in a firm undergoing exciting growth and expansion. The role offers strong support and development, with opportunities to collaborate with specialist teams in Land & Development, Construction, Planning, and Corporate.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Drafting contractual documents and undertaking title due diligence
2. Progressing transactions, including exchanges and completions
3. Managing your own transactions with supervision
4. Assisting senior team members and handling new enquiries

What experience and skills are needed:

1. 0 to 3 years PQE with at least one commercial property training seat
2. Strong communication skills, a commercial mindset, and proactivity
3. Interest in business development and client service
4. Team-oriented and client-focused
