Job Description

Large commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit a Real Estate Legal Director or Partner. The Real Estate transactional team handles some of the UK's largest and most high-profile deals acting for developers, investors, funders and major occupiers across a number of sectors. Clients include Institutional Investors, developers in PBSA (purpose-built student accommodation), Hospitality and Logistics companies and corporate occupiers in the retail, office and leisure sectors.

As a Real Estate Director/Partner, you will oversee and manage all aspects of real estate transactions within the firm. You will be responsible for leading a team of Lawyers, advising clients on a broad range of property transactions and ensuring that all transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with UK law. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading, mentoring and managing a team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff.
  2. Overseeing and managing all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development projects, and financing arrangements.
  3. Involved in networking and business development activities of the team.
  4. Developing marketing strategies and contributing to the growth and expansion of the firm's real estate practice.

Minimum Requirements:

All applicants will be England & Wales qualified with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law, including commercial and residential property transactions, landlord and tenant law, and property financing. Strong client management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships are also important.
