Real Estate Credit - Investment Associate - London

Overview

A newly launched and rapidly growing real estate credit platform is seeking an Investment Associate to join its London-based team. Founded by three highly regarded partners with exceptional track records across real estate, private credit, and structured finance, the firm has already closed five transactions since inception and is actively deploying capital across a strong pipeline of opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial platform in its early stages, working closely with the partners on all aspects of deal execution, portfolio management, and strategy development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, underwriting, structuring, due diligence, execution, and monitoring
• Build and manage detailed financial models and cash flow analyses
• Prepare investment committee materials and present key insights
• Conduct market research, asset-level analysis, and borrower assessments
• Collaborate with legal, technical, and valuation advisors during the deal process
• Monitor portfolio performance and support ongoing asset management

Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of experience in real estate credit, investment banking, principal investing, or structured finance
• Strong understanding of real estate debt structures (senior, mezzanine, whole loans, etc.)
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
• Clear communicator with strong written materials and IC presentation skills
• Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment with high levels of ownership
• Self-starter with a genuine interest in real estate investing
