Siamo Bedford are looking for Forklift Drivers (Reach)
Location: Elms Farm, Bedford
Salary: £12.90 per hour
Shifts: 6am - 2pm - 2pm - 10pm
Free onsite parking!

We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Reach Forklift Drivers to join this dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and handling large, bulky products using a reach truck. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the safe operation of equipment, and optimising warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a reach forklift to safely load, unload, and move large and bulky products within the warehouse.
2. Accurately pick products based on order specifications and ensure timely delivery to designated areas.
3. Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately.
4. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and warehouse policies.
5. Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
6. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Valid Reach Forklift Operator Certification.
2. Previous experience operating a reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
3. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
