RE Teacher

A 'Good' graded comprehensive school and sixth form in Enfield are seeking a RE Teacher to join their department for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract, paid on the Outer London Scale. TLR options are available for experienced RE Teachers looking to progress their career.

The Head of Religious Education is looking for an ambitious RE Teacher with a hard-working attitude who can contribute to the running of the RE department with their ideas and own research. The school has just under 1000 students and boasts incredible facilities, great career progression, CPD, and excellent student behaviour. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects, and impressive KS5 results leading to Oxbridge placements. This is an exciting time for a RE Teacher to join the school.

This RE Teacher role is a September start; however, the school is interviewing immediately after the Easter holidays.

• Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT

• September 2025 - Full Time & Permanent
• MPS1 - UPS3 + TLRs (Size dependent on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Enfield

PERSON SPECIFICATION - RE Teacher

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• Strong Religious Education Teacher / RE Teacher / RE ECT with good subject knowledge
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
