Your Role

• Plan and Deliver: Develop and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping them explore a range of world religions, ethical issues, and philosophical topics.
• Assess and Feedback: Provide regular assessments and constructive feedback to support students' understanding and academic growth.
• Learning Environment: Create an inclusive and dynamic classroom where students feel encouraged to discuss and reflect on religious, moral, and philosophical questions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Religious Education Department and other school staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Professional Development: Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to exchange ideas and continue your own growth as an educator.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Qualifications: QTS and an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
• Skills and Experience: Experience teaching Religious Education up to GCSE level, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for Religious Education and a commitment to helping students understand and appreciate diverse perspectives.
• Positive Attitude: A resilient, inspiring approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
