The Role
About you
We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Partnerships division of our Ratings team. The Ratings Team is a center of excellence for maturity ratings and advisories, working closely with Product and Public Policy teams at Netflix as well as regulators to empower members with trustworthy ratings guidance to make informed entertainment choices. The work you do in this role will directly affect how our members decide what to watch.
In this role, you will be the primary Ratings contact for regulators in the United Kingdom, support our work with regulatory bodies throughout the EMEA region, lead global research and analysis initiatives for Netflix ratings, serve as the Ratings point of contact for sensitive promotional asset review, and support the development and execution of the broader Ratings Team communications strategy. It will require an understanding of UK regulatory requirements and cultural sensitivities, the ability to navigate competing global and local priorities, and the ability to speak effectively about how we develop and apply maturity ratings to content on service.
This is a highly cross-functional role. You will work closely with Public Policy, Consumer Insights, Legal, and Communications Teams in London and Amsterdam to improve and, at times, defend our ratings structure. You will also work with members of our global Product organization, such as Operations, Globalization, and Product Creative Studio to execute on our overall maturity ratings strategy.
This role will dual report into the Director of Ratings and Partnerships (Los Angeles, CA) and the Product Metadata and Ratings EMEA Regional Lead (Amsterdam, Netherlands).
