Rapid Response - HCA

Join Our Rapid Response Team - £25 Per Hour

Are you an experienced Complex Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals in their own homes? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a real difference in people's lives? If so, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant, you will be a key part of our Package Mobilisation Team, ensuring that new clients receive a positive and seamless introduction to Harmony Healthcare. You will provide high-quality care during the first four weeks of their service, supporting client setup and transitioning to a permanent care team.

This role requires travel up to 100 miles from your home postcode, with:

  • Mileage paid
  • Overnight accommodation costs covered where necessary.

You may be called upon at short notice and will work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care to new clients in their own homes.
  • Support the setup of care packages, including documentation and equipment checks.
  • Assist with the introduction of the client's permanent care team.
  • Maintain accurate care records and adhere to CQC regulations.
  • Work flexibly to respond to urgent referrals across a wide geographical area.
  • Collaborate with the Mobilisation Team to ensure a smooth transition for clients.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in complex care, supporting adults and children with Tracheostomy, Medication administration, Epilepsy support, Ventilation, and Suctioning.
  • Previous experience in a rapid/crisis response role (desirable).
  • A full, clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (desirable).
