RAIL SYSTEM SAFETY ENGINEER - LONDON - PERMANENT - £43,750 - £65,580


ARM are working with a major rail client and we are recruiting for a Rail System Safety Engineer to join the team in London.


About You:
  • You will be an experienced Systems Safety Engineer who ideally has worked in rail, but we will consider those from other critical safety environments such as aviation or nuclear industries.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of HAZOP and Common Safety Record on Risk Assessments.
  • You will have worked with Assessment Bodies and Notified Bodies. Knowledge of DOORS is desirable but not essential.

What you will be doing:

This position will be helping set the future of an operational railway. Currently this is in the civil engineering area, but will be moving to a more technical area in the coming years.


This position is currently working hybrid (2 days office and 3 days home) in London. We can also consider Birmingham as an option on this position also.

The salary range for this position is £43,750 - £65,580 and will be dependent on experience and suitability for the role.
