We have an exciting new role as Radiology Rota Manager in the Radiology department at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. This role is a real opportunity to make a difference by providing comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology Service Manager managing Radiographer/RDA rotas. Key will be to coordinate all staff rotas to ensure the service is resourced daily to its required levels.

Main duties of the job

• Work with Radiology Service Manager on recruitment and retention of Radiology (radiographer / RDA) Staff.
• Coordinate rota for radiology / RDA staff, Diagnostic & Imaging, including locum bookings and re-allocation of staff to cover shortfalls where necessary.
• Act as focal point within the department in managing internal communications. Ensuring a smooth running of the office through maintaining office systems including the development and maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems to ensure safe transfer and storage of information.
• To participate in induction programs for all staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of managing staff.
• Experience of redesigning services.
• Management of change (planning and implementation).
• Experience of complex radiology rostering systems in radiology.

• IT literate.
• Team player with leadership and organisational skills.
• Demonstrate skills to balance competing demands.
• Budgetary / Equipment / Resource management skills.
