Job description

Radiographer

Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital | Radiology | Bank | Adhoc

Up to £25 per hour depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

State-of-the-art equipment and more time to focus on what matters. We’re the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity and this is the career you’ve always wanted. We’ll ask you to see each patient as an individual, carrying out your role with understanding and empathy.

As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification, and excellent teamwork skills.

As a Radiographer, you will:

  1. Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
  2. Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
  3. Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment, and facilities.
  4. Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.
  5. Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
  6. Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

Helping you feel good.

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy, and valued. That’s why we’ve developed a benefits package with you in mind. From holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our Pension Scheme, and discounted gym membership at £15.00 a month.
