An established industry player is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join their team for a 6-month contract. This role involves conducting radiographic inspections and interpreting weld defects using advanced NDT techniques. The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications such as PCN Level 2 Radiography and a strong background in technical disciplines. Qualifications

Radiographer
Location: Sheffield, BAE Systems
Duration: 6 months
Rates: £30 PAYE or £40.33 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: working week over 4 days
What We're Looking For
Essential:
  • PCN Level 2 Radiography (RT) in Welds
  • NC or HNC in an appropriate technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • PCN Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) or Advanced Radiation Safety certification
  • Experience with NDT of metallic structures, particularly welds
  • Strong understanding of IRR 2017 and product safety standards
Desirable:
  • PCN Level 2 in Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
  • CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level 2 in Welding Inspection
  • Background in a skilled trade discipline
Skills:
  • Interpretation of weld defects via radiographic and NDT techniques
  • Ability to write and interpret radiographic techniques and inspection reports
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication
