Radiographer

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Full time

Salary depending on experience

37.5 hours per week - On call cover required

We are looking to recruit a talented Radiographer who is looking to take on an exciting and varied role at Leeds Nuffield. This role is a 50/50 split between X-ray and our cross-sectional imaging service (MRI and CT). Training for CT and MRI will be provided, but previous experience in one or both will be an advantage. The role has a requirement to cover both X-ray and CT on-call.

As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.

As a Radiographer, you will:

  • Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
  • Experience a varied caseload in the department.
  • Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
  • Provide on-call cover for X-ray and CT
