Our client, based in South Wales, is looking for a key individual to join their specialist team. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody to join their organisation, with excellent development opportunities.
You will be working within a small team, involved in the research & development, design, and production of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
Reading electronic schematics, soldering down to component level, and crimping of harness assemblies.
Assembly/Test of current production products.
Support of in-field upgrades/repairs which may include foreign travel.
Ability to think logically with safety at the forefront.
Ability to motivate and drive both yourself and surrounding team members.
Skills:
Hands-on experience assembling, testing, and repairing electronic prototypes to component level.
Experience with RF (Radio frequency) would be advantageous.
Research & Development experience (Desirable, not essential).
Experience with hand tools and programmable logic controllers.
Strong electronic knowledge.
Ability to work with power tools effectively.
Prior experience in assembly processes and attention to detail.
Certification in electrical or electronic assembly is a plus.
