• Directly employ 1,300 people and provide regular work to around 800 contractors. They support 2.7 million customers across the north of England and are investing £1bn over the next 8 years to upgrade the regions gas network.

About the Job

Reason for Vacancy:

• The Commercial Manager required three additional Quantity Surveyors to deliver projects across gas holder, minor works, reinstatement and backfill frameworks after Northern Gas Networks received a significant increase in workload across various frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of commercial and procurement strategies across a portfolio of regional frameworks.
• Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors from relevant contractors or subcontractors, who can commute weekly to Leeds.
• Strong infrastructure project experience and post contract management experience of variations and claims to a high level.
• Maintain all candidates in the recruitment process in a competitive market by recruiting to an agreed interview process and moving quickly to offer.
