Job description


Leading civil engineering main contractor seeks to employ a Quantity Surveyor with experience of using the NEC form of contract, to support the delivery of a project in Southend.

As Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial delivery of a 7million civil engineering project which is part of a long term framework.



Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects. This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
  • You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitment
  • As a Quantity Surveyor (QS), you will work on your own project and collaborate closely with the other site's commercial team to look for efficiencies.


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in quantity surveying within a civil engineering sector
  • Proficiency with NEC contracts and their application in civil engineering projects
