The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Web Content Coordinator to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Web Content Coordinator, you will manage and implement changes to destination, hotel, and excursion pages. The position reports to the Director Product Support and will be located in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Oversee the assigned destination, data migration and maintenance of product information for Sunwing Vacations Group.
  2. Ensure that the data being inputted is accurate, always up-to-date, consumer-facing and consumer-appropriate.
  3. Create and maintain product pages by inputting product information into the content/product information management system.
  4. Coordinate with Product Specialists (and other departments, as necessary) to ensure the latest hotel factsheets and product information is retrieved and maintained and respond to product inquiries.
  5. Practice outstanding organization and prioritizing skills in order to:
    1. Stay on top of new and existing product pages that need to be updated.
    2. Be mindful of pending product pages that require additional information.
    3. Follow up with resources to retrieve required information in a timely fashion.
    4. Review daily Reports to ensure data is up to date in your respective destinations.
    5. Ensure standardization guidelines for content are adhered to.
    6. Launching new Product, ensure web is up and running.
    7. Web Alerts, ensure that these are displaying accordingly on Web per ARCC notifications.
    8. Monitor/Audit WEB on a regular basis per destination.
  6. Gain an in-depth understanding of the destination as a whole.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  1. Post-secondary education in a related field.
  2. Certification in Travel and Tourism.
  3. TICO Certification.
  4. Use office technology (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  5. Very detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  7. Able to follow company’s policies and procedures, as well as understanding of the organizational structures and functional responsibilities relevant to the area of responsibility.
  8. Strong understanding of the travel industry is an asset.
