Quality Technician - £12.80 per Hour, Long term Temp role
Crewkerne, Somerset | Monday - Friday | Global Engineering Company

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join the team at a top global engineering company in Crewkerne, Somerset. This is a long-term temporary role, offering a competitive hourly rate. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through carrying out and managing metrology tasks on both externally sourced and internally manufactured components. This role also includes the calibration of onsite measurement instruments, signing off process route cards for compliance, and covering general quality engineering tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to maintain the highest standards of quality assurance
  2. Programme and operate CMM machines to accurately measure components
  3. Create detailed dimensional reports to track quality control
  4. Ensure compliance with procedures and customer specifications

What We're Looking For:
  1. Prior experience with CMM operation
  2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  3. Familiarity with AS9100/9001 quality management systems (desirable)
  4. Experience in the aerospace industry preferred
  5. A strong work ethic and commitment to quality assurance
