Quality & Compliance Manager
Impact are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Quality & Compliance Manager, working for a growing business. Our client has seen year on year growth, with strong clients across the UK, and due to this are recruiting for a manager to take responsibility for all quality and ensuring the business remains compliant with regulations. As a Quality Manager, you will support the transition from ISO 9001 compliance to achieving a broader set of strategic accreditations. This is a pivotal role within the business, and you will require a proactive attitude and be systems-focused with a strong understanding of quality management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.

Location: Northampton | On-site
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Full-time Pay: £45,000 - £47,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and implementation of management systems aligned to ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and AS9100.
2. Take responsibility for conducting internal audits.
3. Complete gap analyses and compliance reviews against relevant standards.
4. Manage all existing quality assurance processes under ISO 9001.
5. Prepare and oversee certification audits, documentation, and improvement plans.
6. Collaborate with various teams within the business to ensure the integration of quality.
7. Support staff training, particularly around information security.
8. Act as a liaison with external auditors, certification bodies, and clients.
9. Develop and maintain risk registers, incident logs, and corrective & preventive action plans.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a quality or compliance leadership role.
2. Strong working knowledge of at least one or more of the following standards: AS9100, ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
3. Experience with planning and leading accreditation projects.
4. Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
5. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Experience with getting ready for audits.
8. Must have the ability to influence at all levels.
9. Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Compliance, Risk, or Security, with a preference in the following: CQI, Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, and CISMP.
10. Preferably have experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or highly regulated sectors.
