Quality Supervisor (Manufacturing)

We have facilities across the UK and are looking for new talent to join our team in Burnley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete customer Packaging Specifications (Incl. portals)
• Completing Supplier Questionnaires (SAQ)
• Raising and issuing customer complaints
• Responding to customer complaints including monitoring and analysing trends
• Control Raw Material rejections / site credits
• Aid Quality Manager in complying with the current site standards: BRCGS, ISO9001 etc.
• Complete audits both site and IMS
• Involvement with Pest Control on site
• Oversee Calibration across site
• Help the QCO with daily performance where required
• Carry out Hygiene inductions for new starters or contractors

• Ability to work individually and within a team
• Ability to drive issues through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Capable of communicating with external customers re: Raw material supplier/pest controls
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise
• The ability to interpret food safety standards

Desired Experience/Skills:

• Quality Assurance experience within a FMCG environment and/or the print/packaging sector
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of working with Excel
• Experience in a similar role
