Job description

A leading manufacturing company near Maldon is looking for a confident Quality Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products meet the required specification along with implementing quality improvements. Duties

• Interact with production to ensure company quality standards are met.
• Provide quality advice and implement improvements when needed to the production team.
• Check and inspect the quality of raw materials to ensure they meet quality expectations as per company standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor equipment and check packaging print.
• Inspect finished products, determining suitability for market.
• Ensure electronic records are kept up to date.

Please note this role includes the lifting and moving of heavy items.

Skills & Experience

• Previous quality experience working within a production environment.
• Understanding of HACCP
• Organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
• Working within an Agribusiness would be an advantage but is not essential.
• A full driving licence and own transport is essential.
