Our client is a leading food manufacturer and due to continued growth within the business, they are looking to bring in an additional quality specialist to the team.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. This is an independent role - working with operations and quality team
2. Working on improvement works and CI initiatives
3. Cross-auditing with other sites
4. Product testing - recording and analysing results, identifying trends, investigating anything outside of specifications
5. Environmental monitoring, allergen and water testing
6. Internal and external BCR audits - assisting, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, identifying food safety issues on production line, raw material inspections, etc.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. 3 years+ experience in a quality role within a food environment
2. HACCP and Food Safety Qualifications
3. Food Science degree desirable
